Without the condiments/toppings, the puto bumbong was bland or was it supposed to be like that?

Aldrino's
Still nursing a hangover from the holidays, I ordered Puto Bumbong at Aldrino's after my Chicken Sate meal.
PUTO BUMBONG (P50)
