Deliveries

Had these delivered as I can't get out of the house.
These were all just for me. My lunch and merienda (snack) for that day.

McDonald's Big N' Tasty, French Fries, Chicken Nuggets, Spaghetti and Chicken

- the veggies of the Big n' Tasty weren't that fresh anymore, I still prefer the Double Cheeseburger and Cheeseburger than this
- also it took them almost 2 hours to deliver my order. They came up with excuses like they have a lot of deliveries that day and so and so. I haven't had that experience with Jollibee. With Jollibee you'll get 200 peso worth of gc if they go beyond 30 minutes. Maybe McDonald's should implement the same.
- btw, this was way before the storm, almost 3 weeks ago

Chowking Halo-Halo ( one with macapuno and the other topped with ube ice cream), Buchi and Beef Siomai

- they ran out of crushed ice that I had to cancel my order and re-order after 3 hours

Greenwich Set Meal

Complete meal for only P99

Photobucket
- chicken with java rice, onion rings and drinks

I changed the onion rings to fries and the drink to a Buco Pandan Cooler for an additional 16 pesos.

I liked everything. It was indeed a complete meal (although not the healthy kind) for someone who likes fries with almost everything. And the cooler drink doubles up as a dessert too.

Serenitea Uji Matcha with Red Bean and Pearl

My first time here I didn't order drinks, I just had the Corn and the Chicken Chops. Both too salty. This time around I ordered just drinks.

As I am into green tea, I ordered Uji Matcha with mix red beans and pearl. As I was telling my sugar preference, I were told that it's not applicable with their uji matcha, that the sugar/sweetener were already incorporated in the powdered matcha, so there was no way of adjusting its sugar level.

Anyways, I find it okay-tasting. Not that strong as Cha Time's Green Tea, more like a subtle version of Gong Cha's matcha.

HK Eats – KFC

Photobucket
For our last snack in Hongkong we all agreed on KFC.

Photobucket
Their menu were way different than those offered here (Philippines). They also rarely give gravies (or they don’t have any?) in their chicken meals and snacks =(

Photobucket
We ordered different set snacks. I ordered the one with Chicken Popcorn/Hotshots, Latticed-Cut Fries and Double Hot Chocolate for drinks (add HK$5).

Photobucket
The hotshots were dry, the fries tasted like our crispy fries just more appealing (in appearance) while the double hot chocolate was just okay. Better than those served in McDo and Jollibee for Breakfast Meals though.

Photobucket
My sister’s snack meal has Chicken, Fries, Mocha Mousse for dessert and Iced Cafe Mocha for drinks (add HK$7). She said that all were just okay.

Last but not the least, I ordered a couple of their Portuguese Egg Tarts at HK$6.50/pc.

Photobucket
Flaky puff pastry crust with soft-set custard and caramelized top.

Photobucket
They were exactly the same tarts as those we had in Choi Heong Bakery in Macau. They tasted and looked the same. They were deliciously-creamy.
