Starbucks Strawberry Shortcake

Layers of sponge cake and strawberry cheesecake, topped with strawberry cream frosting

I am not a berry cake type of person, but I do like this cake. All the layers, and even the cream frosting worked well together.

Starbucks Summer Berry Pannacotta

I first saw it on an Instagram post. And as I terribly miss Happy Lemon's Matcha Smoothie with extra Rocksalt, Pearl and Pudding, I tried it right away.

It was so sweet compared to happy lemon, that I didn't like it that much. I made my husband try the Dark Mocha Pannacotta, and he had the same sentiments as me. We still prefer happy lemon.

Starbucks Chicken and Spinach Roll and Blueberry Dome Cake

The Chicken and Spinach Roll was so good that I finished it right away and would definitely buy one or two of it again. While the Blueberry Dome Cake was too light for my liking.

Starbucks Chocolate and Hazelnut Parfait

Alternate layers of chocolate cake and hazelnut cream.

This was good, though sometimes the hazelnut cream tends to be too cloying.

Starbucks Strawberry Cheesecake Frap

I was very excited to order this yesterday as I like cheesecakes and anything with cheese, but was disappointed as it didn't taste like strawberry cheesecake at all, but more like a strawberry sundae.

Starbucks Green Tea White Chocolate Frappuccino

I went out yesterday to buy food for my son at Healthy Options and also to try Starbucks new green tea drink.

Basically it's the same green tea frap, but with added white chocolate pudding. Having been drinking a lot of happy lemon's matcha smoothie with extra rocksalt and pearls, I now find starbucks green tea frap too sweet and cloying. But I do like the taste of the white chocolate pudding.

Starbucks Dark Chocolate Turtle Cake and Forest Ham and Monterey Jack Cheese on Brioche Loaf

Had a late snack at Starbucks Mall of Asia with my brother-in-law and niece, after we returned the tower fan I bought at SM Appliance.

My niece and I both ordered the Forest Ham and Monterey Jack Cheese on Brioche Loaf, while my brother-in-law had the Ratatouille on Multigrain Bread. Both of them chose Chamomile Tea, while my choice was the Chocolate Cream Chip Frappuccino.

We all enjoyed our sandwiches, but I regret ordering the chocolate cream chip frap as it was freezing cold where we're sitting.

To go I bought a slice of their Turtle Cake. When I asked the barista what's in it, she said, chocolate sponge cake, white chocolate, caramel pecan, chocolate fudge, and chocolate cookie. As a chocoholic, I would definitely buy one again soon.

I also bought Kung Pao Chicken Wrap, as I read somewhere that it's good. Personally I didn't like it. I love Kung Pao Pasta, but this wrap version I don't like. The carrots were the one that turned me off the wrap.

Starbucks, Pancake House and Yellow Cab

I went for a check-up without eating breakfast. So while waiting for my turn at the doctor's clinic, I went down and bought myself a sandwich at Starbucks.
Chicken pesto was not available so I just bought forest ham, egg whites and gouda.
It was salty on some areas, but overall a good sandwich.

After my check-up I went to Pancake House to meet with a friend for lunch.
As I already had a sandwich for breakfast, I didn't order the Chicken Asparagus but instead had the House Special while
my friend ordered the Warm Bacon Potato Salad and Best Taco.

The Warm Bacon was good but a little bit bland, but nothing that a dash of salt here and there couldn't fix.

The House Special has Spaghetti, Garlic Toast, Chicken with Gravy, Beef Taco and Iced Tea.

Everything was oilier than usual especially the chicken. But I was still able to finish them all. Though I just don't think I'll be having them again anytime soon.
I also don't like that they only serve iced tea for the special.

After my Pancake Lunch, I was supposed to also have Gurtz there, but my friend told me that it wasn't good, so I just had my favorite cutie cup at Tutti Frutti.
This time I had it with Mochi and Sliced Almonds. It was good as always that I was tempted to have more. But I had to stop myself as I had a lot of candies and chocolates in between lunch and Tutti Frutti.

To keep myself from eating I had a haircut and a pedicure. That kept me idle and engrossed with different magazines for an hour.

After that I went to Yellow Cab and ordered a Grilled Chicken Lime Foldover and a Charlie Chan Pasta.

The foldover came with a dip or sauce that you'll pour on your foldover pizza before folding it over.

I like the sauce, the crisp and fresh veggies and the overall taste of the foldover itself, I just don't like that the foldover was dry and rubbery-chewy on some areas.

Starbucks

Went out for snacks at Starbucks. Ordered the Hojicha Tea Latte, a new drink concoction at Starbucks, made from roasted Japanese green tea and steamed milk.

It tasted like soymilk. It was sweet and has no bitter tea aftertaste.

For my sandwich I had the Spam Black Pepper, Egg and Cheddar Cheese and Salumi and Cheese on Brioche Bread

My husband said that the Spam tasted like the Sausage and Egg Mcmuffin of Mcdo, we both liked it though. Actually it's my fave sandwich for now.

The brioche bun of the Salumi wasn't as buttery as I expected. Still like the Spam more.

While my husband's favorite was the Breakast Tapa and Egg with Garlic Mayonnaise which he buys almost everyday.
