Taco Bell Fiesta Meal C

Fiesta rice, seasoned ground beef, fiesta salsa salad, potato bites with cheese sauce and a 12 oz drink of any kind.

Part of their Fiesta Platters Belly Busog Meals.

Since I love meats more than rice or bread, the 2 scoops of ground beef was not enough for me, that I bought Wendy's Chili con Carne to pair with my leftover fiesta rice.

Going back to the ground beef, it was really well-seasoned. While the potato bites were like KFC's Crispy Fries in taste just 3 times the saltiness/MSG. But unlike it, it was soft and not crispy.


Overall, the meal was good. I like the combination of the rice with the ground beef and the salsa. A better option would be, that instead of the potato bites, churros should be used. In that way you'll definitely have a complete meal.

The potatoes were not a sound complement to the rice meal. It was like eating a rice meal with french fries. It was just too much for me.

Wendy's Chili Con Carne

Mostly beans, not spicy at all, even just a teeny bit. Slightly salty too.

Served with Skyflakes crackers.

Mandarin Deli Chocolate Croissant

Big, huge, jumbo croissant. Cheap too. Just P40 a piece.



It's buttery, flaky and sweet. Everything a good croissant should be. The chocolate filling too was delicious. But as what the shop attendant said, the size or amount of chocolate was for the P40 price. So don't expect to see it on both ends of the croissant, 'coz you'll definitely be disappointed.

Jipan's Sweet Potato Tart

Mashed sweet potato with caramelized apple filling on a pastry crust, glazed til golden with butter.


The bottom part (crust) was soft, sweet and flaky, the caramelized apples were tender but firm, while the mashed sweet potato was soft, firm and not too sweet.

It was a filling but not heavy on the tummy tart. What it (mashed sweet potato) lacked in sweetness was well taken care off by the caramelized apples and pastry crust.

Overall, I still like their Sweet Potato Pie more.

Intercontinental Strawberry Donut

Like any other yeast and glazed donut, with the powdered sugar already melting and glazing the donut.


But what set it apart was the taste of the strawberry filling inside. It's not too sweet and has a more prominent strawberry than sugar taste.

Mandarin Deli Custard Cream

Buttery and sweet croissant and yeast donut type bread with custard cream on the center.


It was like pringles, that once you pop into your mouth you can never stop. That was what happened to me. I just wanted a bite but wasn't able to stop myself from finishing the entire danish.


The custard cream was tart and sweet like it has cheese in it. I was wondering how it happened, then I saw on my receipt that what I bought was Danish Cream Cheese. So maybe that explained the tart taste of the custard. I just don't know if the Danish Cream Cheese and Custard Cream are one and the same.
