Jipan's Sweet Potato Tart

Mashed sweet potato with caramelized apple filling on a pastry crust, glazed til golden with butter.

The bottom part (crust) was soft, sweet and flaky, the caramelized apples were tender but firm, while the mashed sweet potato was soft, firm and not too sweet.

It was a filling but not heavy on the tummy tart. What it (mashed sweet potato) lacked in sweetness was well taken care off by the caramelized apples and pastry crust.

Overall, I still like their Sweet Potato Pie more.
