I tried their Orange Poppy Seed Muffin (P65.00)
and Blueberry Muffin (55.00)
Both were moist and good.
I also bought their bestseller Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce.
And as expected it was delicious.

Espressamente Illy Walnut Brownies
Banana Leaf Sizzling Malayan Curry Chicken
I was still full from my late lunch of Seafood Gambas Pasta from Pancake House but since it's dinner time, hungry or not, I should eat something.
I was thinking of just having sweets at Starbucks but as I passed by Banana Leaf, I decided on having their Sizzling Malayan Curry Chicken (P178) instead.
It was served with rice, egg, and a slice of chinese cabbage on a sizzling plate. Plus an extra curry sauce to pour at your own discretion.
I savored every bite of my sizzling malayan curry. It was delicious. But I am biased since I love almost anything with coconut milk and I do love chicken curry.

Caramia's Peach Walnut Gelato Cake
Layers of peach flavored gelato, sponge cake, walnut meringue and cream, topped with peach slices at P95/slice or P720/whole cake
I like the walnut crust/meringue in the cake and how it contrasted with the creaminess of the gelato.
I like it so much that after ordering a slice for dine in, I ordered a whole cake to go to eat all by myself.
Btw, they don't provide dry ice, so make sure that you already calculated your commute when you buy a whole gelato cake.
I also like their New York Cheesecake Gelato.
It has a biscuity taste that may seem cloying at times but not that day.
It is on the same level as their Chocolate Sansrival.

Just Last Week
Just last week I ate again at Fish and Co in Mall of Asia.
I ordered Just For Me Fish and Chips (P199.00)
My cravings for something salty was fixed that day.
And for something sweet I had,
Mrs Fields White Chocolate Muffin
The muffins were moist but I would like it more if they used white chocolate chunks instead of white chocolate chips.
I also bought a Mini Tin Chicago Mix (P150.00) at Chicago Popcorn Shops in Mall of Asia
- mix of Karamel Krisp and Cheese
The cheese were at times not that crunchy anymore. But the combination worked. Something sweet and salty.
I also tried their Classic Airpopped (Double-P40.00)
Compared with Tater's plain popcorn, Chicago's Airpopped don't have the crunch that I like in my popcorn, although healthier.

Cafe Breton
A friend of mine raved about their crepes, though she'll always stick to her favorite of mangoes with added nuts, I on the other hand wanted to try them all, one or two at a time.
My first order was their Original Sin
It has apples, whipped cream, caramel ice cream and crushed walnuts.
I was hooked on my first bite. It was just divine.
The crepe was pillowy-soft and buttery and everything in and on it worked together perfectly.
Word of caution, make sure to try first their walnuts before ordering their Original Sin. Sometimes their walnuts taste old. I had twice that experience at their Pedro Gil branch. Now I know better. Another thing, their Mall of Asia branch is generous with their toppings than their Pedro Gil branch.
- MALL OF ASIA
- PEDRO GIL
At times when their walnuts don't taste good, I order it with almonds instead
or when I don't like it to be too sweet, I omit the caramel sauce and whipped cream
Recently this is my usual order,
- crepe with bananas, caramel or strawberry ice cream and almonds
And just last week I got into their savoury crepes.
- buckwheat galette with tuna, onion and bechamel sauce
- buckwheat galette with tuna, onions and cheese sauce
I love their buckwheat galette for savoury crepes than plain crepe. I like everything here except the two sauces (bechamel and cheese -mild cheddar sauce). They were not that good. The bechamel was too peppery while the cheese tasted like their bechamel just with a little tart.
And this was my order just a couple of days ago, Dracula Crepe
- on buckwheat galette again, with mild cheddar, tomato and garlic
Delicious.
Tasted like a super cheesy lasagna, with the melted cheese oozing out of the galette with every slice.
It also gave a slight CPK's Mushroom Ravioli taste. I don't know how but it really did.
