The lady server recommended Sakura! Sakura! Green Tea. I was thinking of having paris something tea, but she said that it has a hint of cherries while the sakura was of cherry blossom. She also said that it's their bestseller.

It was mild for a tea, slightly sweet with also a bitter aftertaste.

For my main I ordered the Wagyu Burger.

It was a juicy burger with a fresh and crisp side salad. Even the fries have tea powder sprinkled on them, which gave them a truffle taste.

For dessert I bought Earl Grey and Chocolate Macaron, Scones and Green Tea Financier. I like the Earl Grey and Chocolate the most. Make that love.

Seattle's Best

After my Burger Bar meal, I went around the mall looking for pretty stuff for me and my son. I went from greenbelt 2, to 3, to 4, to 5, to 1, then back again at 3, where I stopped for a quick drink of Avocado Milkshake at Seattle's Best. Then I was back again at greenbelt 5 and 1.

It was quite good, actually better than the usual avocado shakes I had or maybe the best avocado milkshake I've tasted. It was so good that I bought another one to take home. Even my husband loved it.

Burger Bar

Been reading about them a lot these past few weeks. It piqued my curiosity that one afternoon I trooped all the way to greenbelt, and foregone all the important errands of that day, just so I can try them.

I wanted to try the Rising Shroom because of the white truffle cream cheese, but the waiter told me that I should try their bestseller burgers. The Bar Burger and The Hangover. So I ordered them both. One was to go.

I also ordered Onion Rings and The Arnold Palmer.

From the two I like the hangover burger more. It was juicy. And the addition of the sunny side up egg made it moist. The sesame bun too was soft. i just don't like the BBQ sauce that much. While the brioche bun of the bar burger wasn't buttery nor soft, the patty not juicy and the toppings were a little bit dry.

The onion rings were sprinkled with BBQ powder I were told . They were very filling that when I ate them with my burger I was only able to eat half of my burger. Btw, according to the waiter their patties were quarter pounder in size.

My arnold palmer drink, a mix of lemonade and iced tea, tasted just like a lemonade would. None of the iced tea taste.

I wanted to try one of their desserts in a jar but I was too full and I don't have anyone to share it with. And since they all have ice cream in it, I can't have them to go. Maybe next time I will.

For my to-go dessert, I bought my favorite macarons at TWG.

I bought the box of 6. 4 of my uber favorite earl grey and chocolate and one each of lemon and caramel.

I ate them for midnight snack with twg emperor sencha tea at home. The good life.

Vanilla Cupcake Bakery

While at glorietta I saw a woman carrying a cute bag of cupcakes, I wanted to ask her where she bought them but she walked very fast.

Still I was estatic as on my way to SM Makati I walked past Vanilla Cupcake Bakery and saw the same package the woman was carrying on display.

When I asked what's their best seller I were told that it's Red Velvet but it's already sold out, next would be the vanilla Pink, Bubblegum, and Banana Hazelnut. I was ready to buy the Vanilla Pink but saw a staff put 3 Red Velvet on display. I told her to reserve them for me. Lucky me.

I wanted to eat the cupcake at their pretty and comfortable dining area but since I still have a lot of things to buy before the mall's close, I just had them to go.

It was good, not too sweet as the staff said. I would definitely go back and buy myself some more Red Velvet and try their Fudge Brownie and maybe this time eat them there.

Red Ribbon Ultimate Chocolate Indulgence

I was looking at their cake display when a staff told me that their Mango Cake and Dulce de Leche Cake were at 20%off. I love their Dulce de Leche, so I immediately told her I'll buy that last piece. But while paying at the counter I caught a glimpse of their Ultimate Chocolate Indulgence. Being a chocoholic, I felt that I needed to try it right away, even more that the same staff said that the chocolate coating was made of dark chocolate.
At home I immediately cut myself a slice, but was disappointed as it doesn't taste like it has or was made of dark chocolate. But I still like it. It's fudgey and is getting fudgier as the day passes (chilled).

Starbucks

Went out for snacks at Starbucks. Ordered the Hojicha Tea Latte, a new drink concoction at Starbucks, made from roasted Japanese green tea and steamed milk.

It tasted like soymilk. It was sweet and has no bitter tea aftertaste.

For my sandwich I had the Spam Black Pepper, Egg and Cheddar Cheese and Salumi and Cheese on Brioche Bread

My husband said that the Spam tasted like the Sausage and Egg Mcmuffin of Mcdo, we both liked it though. Actually it's my fave sandwich for now.

The brioche bun of the Salumi wasn't as buttery as I expected. Still like the Spam more.

While my husband's favorite was the Breakast Tapa and Egg with Garlic Mayonnaise which he buys almost everyday.
