It was my second time at the resto and I ordered Fish and Chips and Superman Burger.
The Fish and Chips (P320.00) comes with french fries, old bay tartar sauce, spicy cocktail sauce , malt vinegar and homemade coleslaw.
Sadly though the fish was not good. It was tender but bland. The vinegar nor the cocktail sauce and even the tartar sauce, can't help it. The only saving grace of the dish was the fries. They were good, as good if not better than KFC's Crispy Fries and Chelsea's Kilfer Potatoes. Even the smell was delicious and is perfect with their tartar sauce.
I also had the Superman Burger (P420.00).
It has 2 thick US beef patties, American and cheddar cheese, balsamic sweet onions, hickory BBQ sauce, double smoked bacon, lettuce and tomatoes on a black and white sesame bun with a pickled pepper. It also comes with french fries, homemade coleslaw and a big pickle.
I ordered it medium well.
The patties were indeed very thick and juicy. It wasn't over-the-top good but just good, with even the bun having this grilled smoky taste that I love in anything and everything barbecued/grilled. The thick bacon though didn't add anything to the burger and would even be better without it.

Brownies Unlimited Chocolate Caramel Fudge Cake
I was hesitant to buy it at first but since my sister told me that their cupcakes were good, I bought one with fingers crossed, that their fudge will be the same.
But sad to say it was not. The cake was dry, almost chokingly-dry, with the caramel on top almost tasting like coffee.

Bo's Coffee Revel Bar
I love revel bars more than I do brownies. But up until now I haven't found the best. I thought I found "the one" in San Lo's Revel Bar but ever since they modified their bars they weren't the same anymore.
So when I saw Bo's Revel Bar (P55.00), I bought a couple of bars thinking they might be it, but got disappointed in the end. They were dry and bland even though they don't look like it.

Burgoo Pinacolada
♬♪♪♬ If you like pinacoladas and getting caught in the rain ♫♪♪♬
Don't you just wish it would rain, but not as bad as last year though. But since the possibility for it to rain is 1 to 50 and with the El Nino Phenomenon looming in the distance (or they're just exaggerating?) I just content myself with an order of Pinacolada at Burgoo.
I thought that with it I will enjoy the rain-less afternoon. Well, I thought wrong. It was too dry for a drink. It made me even thirstier than I already was.

Mr Jones Two Dogs in a Bed
2 wienerli franks, sauerkraut, sweet relish, fresh onions, wholegrain mustard, ketchup and jalapeno peppers, served with french fries, homemade coleslaw and a big pickle for P195.00
Come to think of it, if you want to order their fries (which are delicious)for P95.00 an order, why not have the Two Dogs in a Bed for P195 instead. It is more economical and more filling too.
But with that said, I still like Smokey's Chicago Dog more because of the toppings and the mayo-mustard combination but Mr Jones' wieners were far superior than the hot dogs of Smokey's.
My first time to have a wiener with sauerkraut and I can say that in time I will get used to it but not today.

Marta's Cake
I was already too full from dinner that I was not thinking of dessert. But I was easily swayed when I saw Marta's Cake inside Greenbelt 5.
There were a lot to choose from. Cupcakes, cakes and bars. But my eyes were fixed on their Oreo Brownies and Revel Bar, I then added the Mint Brownie in my order just for fun.
I personally don't like mint with chocolates or in my dessert. I always associate it with chewing gum and toothpaste and not desserts.
In Marta's, the mint overpowered the taste of the chocolate in the brownie. But it was still fudgy.
I like that the Revel Bar was not that sweet. I like how it tasted but not its texture. It wasn't chewy at all, it was rock-hard.
The Oreo Brownie was a melange of almost everything that I love, Oreo, milk chocolate, white chocolate and nuts in a brownie.
I don't know what to expect but with all my favorites in it, I'm more than satisfied.

Max Brenner Cookies 2
Two pieces of cookies, choices of Dark or White Chocolate for P98.00
They used to be my favorite cookies, fudgy and chewy with generous chunks of white and dark chocolate, dipped on cream with fruits as a side.
They don't serve it with cream nor fruits anymore, but one time at their Trinoma branch, they gave me a caramel sauce to dip it on. This time though at their newest branch in Greenbelt 5, I was disappointed with both the cookies and service.
It took them a loooong time to prepare my to-go order of cookies. I was their only customer, plus the cookies were already made, even displayed right on the counter. And when I saw the cookies they gave me, the white one was already cracked and with just a drizzle of chocolate syrup. Not worthy at all of P98.00
But it didn't stop there. The cookies were now crispy, like they spent a lifetime in the jar.

SM Fruit Salad
Bite-size fruits with cream mixture, sago, gulaman, kaong and corn at P130/Kilo.
Since in any fruit/buco salad I mostly eat the sago, kaong, gulaman and a lot of the cream mixture, that was what I filled my container with. I only got a few pieces of the fruits.
When an SM staff saw the contents of my container, he said that I might be shortchanged. How come, I asked. He replied that what I chose were those that are heavier but cheaper.
I filled my container with a lot of the cream mixture, sago, gulaman and kaong while others filled theirs with a lot of fruits and just a little bit of the cream and with them paying a little less too while mine was P180+.
When I got home I thought about it some more. He (SM staff) was right. I could have made my own with less than a P100. Well, I'll just do that next time.

Yakimix
Lunch buffet for P499 net inclusive of bottomless drinks but starting March 1, bottomless drinks will cost an additional P55.
I tried the one in Tomas Morato, but prior to that I searched online about the restaurant and found out that they don't allow photo taking of their buffet spread and that they are strict with their no leftover policy.
While there, I already know what and what not to do. I didn't take any photos just those that were on my plate or on my table.
I also didn't overstuff myself and my plate. I don't want to have any leftovers. Plus if I want seconds I can go back anytime, so why overfill my plate.
Of all that I ate, my favorites are the battered crab stick and the chocolate cake with caramel filling from Red Ribbon.

Starbucks Fudge Cheesecake
FUDGE CHEESECAKE P105/SLICE
It has a long name but I forgot to write it down. On the receipt though it says, Fudge Cheesecake.
It reminded me of Brownies Unlimited Walnut Swirl, but unlike it which has more of the brownie part, Starbucks has more of the cheesecake part, like 3/4 and 1/4 of the fudge brownie, nuts and chocolate chips.
I had it to go and ate it the next day.
Right out of the chiller, the cheesecake was partly dense, but a couple of minutes at room tempt, it turned to mousse (not as airy though as Red Ribbon's Chocolate Mousse).
I like the cheesecake and fudge brownie combination, they could have just made it cheaper.

Mcdo's Double Cheeseburger Deluxe
My usual order in McDonald's was their Big Mac because it felt like having 2 burgers. It was only recently that I got to try their Double Cheeseburger Deluxe. If in Big Mac it felt like having 2 burgers, in Double Cheeseburger Deluxe I felt like having 2 cheeseburgers. Now what could beat that?

White Hat
As my "theater snack" for Alice in Wonderland (good in digital 3D ☺), I bought 2 regular yogurt with different toppings from White Hat in Mall of Asia.
One was with blueberries and cheesecake and the other with cherries and oreos (both were recommendations from the staff) at P120 each (P85 for a regular cup yogurt + P35 for 2 toppings = P120)
My favorite is the blueberries and cheesecake combination. Aside from you get more out of your buck, the combination just worked for me.
Their yogurt though reminded me of Nestle NESVITA Pro-Weight Management Yogurt Drink, the green apple flavor which also happens to be my favorite.

CPK Sweet and Spicy Italian Sausages Pizza
A combination of sweet Italian sausage and grilled spicy Italian sausage with tomato sauce, roasted red & yellow peppers, mild onions and Mozzarella cheese.
I wanted the Adobo Pizza but after the server's not-so-good description of it, we (my friend and I) decided on Sweet & Spicy Sausages instead.
Sweet & Spicy Italian Sausages P475.00
Any meat lovers like my friend and I would love it. We had it on a thin crust which not only made it bigger (upon the server's recommendation) but also highlighted the taste of the sausages.
I was able to appreciate its sweet and spicy contrast because of the thin crust. It even made me not think of dessert after for a change.

Yoshinoya's Platter
My first taste of Yoshinoya's Gyudon was in HK. I absolutely love how buttery-soft they were. There I had it with Chicken, which was as good.
Back here, I was craving for that taste that I went to their Park Square branch and ordered one of their combo platter to go. I chose the gyudon/tempura combo which comes with rice and side veggies. The gyudon has an accompanying dip of 7 spices and soy sauce and for the tempura, the usual tempura dipping sauce.
I like that their tempura was not all batter. Theirs was battered just lightly. I was able to enjoy both without having more of the other.
Their platters would definitely satisfy one's craving for Japanese food.
