Cakes

I have been buying whole cakes on a weekly basis since the start of 2013. I reasoned to my husband that I'm saving a lot by buying whole cakes than a couple of slices every other day. Well it's true.

Here are just some of them - From Tous Le Jours, Goldilocks and Caroline.

I have tried Tous Le Jours Chocolate Forest, Classic Chocolate Cake and Chocolate Powder Cake.

Tous Le Jours or french for "everyday" is a french asian bakery. I were told that they use belgian chocolate on their chocolate cakes. And that almost all their cakes are sponge cakes with buttercream filling. I was hesitant to buy at first because I don't like buttercream, but theirs taste different. They weren't cloying at all. And I love the different toppings on their cakes, like the shortbread cookies and macarons.

My favorites from Goldilocks are the Chocolate Mousse and Chocolate Caramel Decadence. The latter because I like the taste of the caramel and the extra caramel sauce they give upon every order of 8 inches round. While my mother likes the Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter.

The Yema Cream Cake from Patisserie Caroline is my husband's favorite, that he even buys extra for himself.

Happy Eating!

I bought it at greenbelt 1, but they were just there for that weekend.
But they have a store at 17-E M.J. Paterno St., Pasadena in San Juan and 0917-9072093 is their number
I forgot the exact price, but it's less than 300.
