Before picking-up my Polly’s Chocolate Cake from the Baker’s Dozen, I grabbed a not-so quick snack at Bubba Gump. I ordered their Old-Fashioned New England Clam Chowder P120 and Dynamite Shrimp P315.
Their Clam Chowder was the thin type but with lots of ingredients of mostly potatoes and some celery, clams (unnoticeable) and sausages. It also has a lot of pepper and whole peppercorn that made the soup spicier than it should be. The whole peppercorn even ruined my okay-soup experience.
The Dynamite Shrimp is made up of breaded shrimps topped with their Asian glaze.
It was the total opposite of its name. It was not spicy at all, more like sweet. It has shredded cabbage underneath that cuts the sweetness of the dish/appetizer. Their Asian glaze resembled the bottled “sweet-chili” sauce sold in supermarkets.
Happy Eating!
